The Northwestern University "Wildcat" Marching Band performs their Senior Day halftime show during the Northwestern vs. Illinois Big Ten Conference conference game on November 24, 2012. After performing "The Pretender" by the Foo Fighters, the NUMB Boneheads (trombones) were featured as winners of the GO U 100 video contest, celebrating one hundred years of one of the Northwestern fight songs, "Go U, Northwestern!" NUMB closed the season with the traditional end-of-year performance of "March of the Steelmen" and "The Old Plus-Four" drill. The show finishes with a recognition of the graduating seniors and the Northwestern University Alma Mater, conducted by Director of Bands Dr. Mallory Thompson. The "Wildcat" Band is led on the field by Drum Majors Michael San Gabino and Will Ritter. Feature Twirler is Kali Maginity. Percussion captains are Justin Lueker and Alex Dale, instructed by Andy Emerich. The guard captain is Nicole Sheriko, instructed by Andy Toth. NUMB Graduate Assistant is David Regner. Graduate Assistants are Joe Higgins, Erik Leung, Geoffrey Miller, Lauren Whisnant and Laurie Bonner. The Director of Bands is Dr. Mallory Thompson, and the Director of the "Wildcat" Marching Band is Mr. Dan Farris. For more information about the band program, go to http://northwesternbands.org.
